Martin Road Series 000E Retro Plus Granadillo Acoustic-Electric Guitar - Natural Aged Toner

The Interstellar Tone Traveler already fell hard for the DE Retro Plus Granadillo, but Martin's 2026 expansion of that formula into the 000 body takes the concept somewhere altogether different — and equally compelling. Where the Dreadnought version thunders, the 000E Retro Plus Granadillo sings. The smaller 000 body focuses the granadillo's rich sustain and sparkling highs into a more balanced, mid-forward voice — intimate, articulate, and perfectly tuned for fingerpickers, singer-songwriters, and anyone who wants every note to speak clearly and deliberately. The torrefied spruce top brings that broken-in, thermally aged vintage character from day one, and at 24.9" scale length, the whole instrument feels wonderfully comfortable and responsive under the hands — shorter, lighter, and more approachable than its Dreadnought sibling without giving up an ounce of tonal sophistication. The Style 28-inspired appointments dress it beautifully: white binding, multi-stripe top inlay, Style 28 Boltaron rosette, and faux tortoise bridge pin dots and pickguard that speak directly to Martin's classic heritage. An ebony fingerboard and bridge add definition and snap to the granadillo's natural warmth, and scalloped X-bracing keeps the dynamic range wide and expressive even as the smaller body focuses the projection. LR Baggs Element electronics translate that natural, balanced voice to the stage with transparency and clarity, and the Performing Artist neck with High Performance Taper keeps playability smooth from the first fret to the last. For players who want the Retro Plus formula in a more personal, nuanced package — this is your ship.
