Designed to resist electrochemical degradation, which is the primary cause of hose failure Pre-formed for a good fit and to ensure perfectly sealed connections EPDM tube; reinforced with knitted synthetic fibers; EPDM lid resistant to heat, ozone, and chemical refrigerants Compliant with the requirements of SAE 20R4, class D2 and DIN 73411, class A standards (except with regard to tolerances) Temperature range: -40 Deg. F to +257 Deg. F (-40 Deg. C to +125 Deg. C) Note: Gates recommends replacing the clamps and connectors each time a new radiator hose is installed. Caution: Do not use for fuel or oil transport applications.
