Més Necklace | Gold or Silver

The Més Necklace is a sculptural pendant necklace from our Eras Collection, handcrafted in our Central Texas studio in brass with a 14k gold-filled chain or in sterling silver. I grew up watching my mom wear a cuff and necklace she'd brought back from a trip to Mexico in the 80s, big, sculptural pieces that looked like nothing else in the room. I was a kid then, more interested in borrowing them than understanding them, but I never forgot the shapes. Years later, once I'd become a metalsmith myself, I kept coming back to that memory. The Eras Collection is what came out of it: my own take on that era of her jewelry box, filtered through my own hands and a healthy love of Matisse's cut-out work. <p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal" data-sourcepos="11
