Clip nails into the desired shape by starting at the corners and clipping toward the center. Clip in small increments to reduce splitting. Next, clip the center to finish the shape. This will apply less stress on the natural nail and help prevent the chance of splitting while clipping. Finish by gently smoothing the nail edges with a nail file. Wide jaw opening is ideal for thickened toenails up to 0.10" thick. Large handle provides added cutting strength, comfort and control during use.
