PRS Limited Edition S2 Vela Black Limba - Natural Smokeburst

Two hundred. That's all that exist in the entire universe — and the Interstellar Tone Traveler managed to land one. The Limited Edition PRS Vela Black Limba in Natural Smokeburst is the kind of guitar that makes you stop scrolling and start staring. Black Limba is a spectacular toneword — warm, resonant, and visually dramatic, with deep, smoky grain figuring that flows through the body like a nebula caught mid-swirl. The Natural Smokeburst finish lets every streak and shadow of that grain breathe under a satin nitro lacquer that feels alive in your hands, and the Vela's signature asymmetrical bevel carve makes the whole thing sit against your body like it was built specifically for you. This isn't a guitar you pick up — it's a guitar that picks you. The Vela platform has always been PRS's most intriguing sonic experiment, and this limited run doubles down on that character. An unlikely but inspired pairing of a DS-01 treble pickup and a PRS Narrowfield bass pickup gives this guitar a tonal personality all its own — the Narrowfield delivers single-coil clarity and articulation without the hum, while the DS-01 brings focused, musical heat up top. A push-pull tone control and 3-way toggle give you plenty of room to explore the spectrum between them. The scarfed maple neck in Pattern Regular profile feels substantial and grounded, and the satin nitro finish keeps your fretting hand flying freely up the rosewood board. At 7 lbs 7 oz, she's a featherweight built for long hauls. One of 200 in the known universe — don't sleep on this one.
