Gibson Songwriter Recording Artist EC - Antique Natural

Step into a clearer orbit with the Songwriter Recording Artist EC in Natural —a refined evolution of a modern classic, built for players who demand precision, power, and unrestricted access to every note in their sonic universe. The Interstellar Tone Traveler knows that the right instrument doesn't just respond — it anticipates. The Gibson Songwriter Recording Artist EC in Antique Natural is exactly that kind of guitar: a refined, precision-built acoustic-electric engineered for players who demand unrestricted access to every note in their sonic universe. The cutaway body opens the upper register with seamless fluidity — new constellations of creativity available without ever sacrificing the depth and authority that define this guitar's voice. A thermally aged Sitka spruce top over rosewood back and sides produces a beautifully balanced spectrum across its 25.5" scale — tight, articulate lows, complex mids, and shimmering highs that ring out like signals through open space — while traditional scalloped X-bracing enhances resonance and responsiveness so that every nuance of your playing is captured with stunning detail. The Antique Natural satin nitrocellulose finish lets the wood's character speak for itself, understated and timeless, like a star that doesn't need to shout to be seen. A rounded mahogany neck joined by a compound dovetail joint with hot hide glue construction maximizes tonal transfer, giving the instrument a lively, deeply connected feel from the very first note. A bound ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl diamond eye inlays offers a smooth, fast surface that keeps you locked in and inspired across long sessions, while a bone nut and saddle, Grover open-back tuners with gold plating, and a stunning ebony belly-up bridge adorned with mother-of-pearl arrow inlays deliver premium performance and visual refinement at every detail. TUSQ bridge pins and multi-ply binding on both top and back complete an instrument where every appointment was chosen with intention. When it's time to go electric, the L.R. Baggs™ HiFi system — mounted directly under the bridge plate — delivers natural, studio-quality dynamics and balance that preserve the guitar's full organic voice without compromise, with a discreet soundhole-mounted volume control keeping you in command at all times. Handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana and protected by a Gibson hardshell case, this is a guitar built for the journey — on stage, in the studio, and beyond. Clean. Boundless. Ready for launch.
