Vox AC-30 Hand-wired 2x12 Combo

Strap in, space cadets. The legendary VOX AC30 has returned—rebuilt, re-wired, and ready to send your sound into the stratosphere. The AC-30 Hand-Wired is more than a reissue; it’s a time-bending, tone-warping resurrection of one of Earth’s most iconic amplifiers, meticulously crafted to deliver vintage British firepower with modern reliability. Think of it as a 1963 tone capsule upgraded for deep-space performance. A Vintage Legend, Re-Engineered for the Modern Universe Every circuit in this amp has been hand-wired with the kind of precision usually reserved for spacecraft instruments. VOX went back to an original 1963 “copper panel” AC30—measuring its electrical fingerprints like ancient starmaps—to recreate its elusive tonal DNA. The result? A power section built around EL84s, a phase inverter that breaks up with its own celestial shimmer, and a newly-designed power supply that reproduces vintage “voltage sag”—that slight, magical drop that makes your notes bloom like nebulae under heavy attack. Even the output transformer received cosmic attention, custom-wound to deliver the bell-like chime and rich harmonic layering that defined the golden age of rock. This isn’t just tone… it’s tone with gravitational pull. A Cabinet that Resonates like the hull of a starship. Don’t let the looks fool you. The AC30 Hand-Wired uses a 12mm birch ply cabinet—just like the 1963 original—for a warm, resonant, three-dimensional sound that fills the room like an expanding galaxy. Paired with dual 12" Celestion Alnico Blues, this amp sparkles, breathes, and sings with unmistakable VOX character. Two Channels with Infinite Worlds. Normal Channel – Warm, focused midrange with a Bright switch for extra starlight. Top Boost Channel – That legendary VOX chime: articulate treble, punchy bass, and when you push it… the kind of British overdrive that shaped Earth’s greatest rock recordings. Touch-sensitive. Expressive. Harmonically rich. Whether you’re orbiting clean tones or diving into fiery crunch, the AC30 Hand-Wired responds like a living instrument. Modern Features for the Space Age Bypass-able master volume for vintage or modern control Transparent effects loop Custom-voiced spring reverb Quiet, reliable, stage-ready construction The VOX AC30 Hand-Wired is for tone explorers, vintage purists, and sonic astronauts alike. Plug in, power up, and discover why this amp’s voice has echoed through musical history—and why it still leads the fleet today.
