Provides light drainage level, ideal for burns, wounds, cuts, abrasions and pressure ulcers. Hydrogel layer hydration system offers a soothing and cooling action while collecting light exudate from wounds and maintaining an appropriately moist healing environment. Acrylic adhesive surrounds the hydrogel layer – No affixing tape or a secondary dressing or bandage required to hold the dressing in place. Flexible, the dressing moves with your body; Translucent for easy wound monitoring the dressing can be worn for two (2) to three (3) days. Can help accelerate healing, with skin healing better, faster and with reduced scarring. Additionally, skin damage to surrounding tissue is decreased with less trauma and maceration resulting in a better user experience during wear with reduced pain. Contains three (3) sterile dressings – 80mm x 100mm Opti-Heal Hydration Multi Purpose Dressing are a self-adhesive (via acrylic adhesive surround), translucent, flexible gel with excellent absorbability. The Hydrogel Layer collects exudate and maintains a moist healing environment for accelerated healing and has a cooling and soothing effect on the skin. It can absorb wound exudate from lightly exudating wounds, maintain a moist healing environment, hasten epithelization as well as reduce healing time. The Hydration Multi Purpose Dressings offer dynamic moisture management for optimum healing. They’re breathable, allowing moisture vapour to escape from the wound while preventing foreign liquid from entering, offering a waterproof barrier. Appropriate levels of moisture are maintained at the wound site which can help accelerate healing with reduced pain and scarring. The 360 degree seal is showerproof and protects wound from dirt and germs, helping to prevent infection. Repositionable and flexible for easy wound monitoring & comfort during wear. The Hydration Multi Purpose Dressings are best for 1st and 2nd degree burns, sun and radiation burns and dry wounds in need of hydration. The dressing pad should be an inch larger than the wound. Always wash hands before and after treating a wound. Gently clean and dry the wound and surrounding skin. Remove the dressing from the sterile wrapper. Remove central portion of the backing films. Place the dressing centrally over the wound site. Avoid touching the side to be used on the wound. Remove the two remaining backing films and smooth the dressing down over the skin. Remove the top plastic films from the dressing. Removal Examine the wound and apply a new dressing as required, if the wound is exudating then the dressing should be replaced at least daily. If there is little or no exudation, the dressing can be changed every 2 - 3 days until the wound heals. The dressings cannot be used continuously for more than 30 days.
