Martin D-X2E Billy Strings Signature Acoustic-Electric Guitar - Natural

The Interstellar Tone Traveler has witnessed few artists rise through the cosmos with the velocity and brilliance of Billy Strings — a flatpicker whose connection to pre-war Martin tone is as deep and genuine as the tradition itself, and whose ability to bend that tradition toward something wholly new has made him one of the most electrifying acoustic players on the planet. The D-X2E Billy Strings is a guitar built in the spirit of Billy's beloved vintage D-28, designed to bring that Dreadnought DNA within reach of players at every stage of the journey. A solid spruce top over Brazilian rosewood-patterned HPL back and sides delivers the powerful, booming projection that defines the Dreadnought format, with enough warmth and clarity to handle everything from traditional bluegrass flatpicking to the genre-bending psychedelic adventures Billy is known for. The unique 25" scale length and custom nut width mirror his high-end signature counterpart exactly — making the fast, intricate lines that define his playing feel natural and effortless right out of the case. Style 28 Boltaron rosette, ebony fingerboard with faux abalone Diamond & Squares inlay, and nickel open-gear tuners give this guitar a classic, refined aesthetic that honors the vintage tradition it draws from, while Martin E1 electronics with a built-in tuner keep it stage-ready whenever the moment calls. A custom paper label inside bears Billy's pre-printed signature and graphic, making every one of these guitars a small piece of the Billy Strings story. For the fan who wants to play the scale and feel of Billy's instrument, or the player who simply needs a powerful, reliable Dreadnought with serious pedigree behind it, the D-X2E Billy Strings delivers something the Interstellar Tone Traveler rarely encounters at this level: genuine inspiration made accessible.
